In this lesson, students will learn about the similarities and differences of characters in texts.

Learning objective
[Students will be able to compare and contrast the experiences of characters.
Introduction
Students are introduced to the terms, “compare” and “contrast.” They will tell how two dogs are the same and different. They will also find similarities and differences between the two Gynzy robots, Virko and Valetta.
Instruction
Students will participate in a variety of interactive board activities that will help them find similarities and differences of 2 objects. For example, they will state how two houses are the same and how they are different. They will also fill out a Venn Diagram about a text by dragging images.
Quiz
Review comparing and contrasting with 10 questions that ask students to compare or contrast two given images or text.
