Students will review verbs.
They will then talk about past tense verbs, words that show an action that has happened in the past. Explain that past tense verbs usually end in -ed. They will also discuss present tense verbs, words that show an action that is happening now. Explain that present tense verbs usually end in -s or -es. They will go over future tense verbs, words that show an action that is going to happen later. Explain that future tense verbs are usually preceded by the word, "will."
