Learning objective
Students will be able to recognize and print the letter Tt, as well as determine if a word has a Tt sound.
Introduction
To reveal the guide for the lesson, students can race to delete all the Ss words. They will review how to write the letter Ss.
Instruction
Tiana the Turtle will have her friend, Max, demonstrate how to write the letter Tt. Students will then practice writing uppercase and lowercase Tt on the board and on their own paper. Two students can race to complete a puzzle that makes the letter Tt.
Students will then practice and pronounce Tt sounds. They will get to name as many words that start with the Tt as they can think of! They’ll also get to use their letter Tt knowledge to complete a fun activity that will help Tiana the Turtle find food.

Review the letter Tt with 10 questions on identifying and writing the letter Tt.
Closing
Students will review how to write the letter Tt and then decorate the letter Tt.
