In this lesson, students will learn the definitions of fantasy and realism, as well as learn how to distinguish between them.

Learning objective
Students will be able to tell the difference between fantasy and realism.
Introduction
First, this lesson will introduce fantasy and realism and have students show what their prior knowledge of that is.
Instruction
Students will be asked about what could happen in real life and what could not. They will be shown examples of each and will be asked to tell if the examples are fantasy or realism and asked why or why not. Students will sort pictures with labels into the categories of fantasy or realism.
Quiz
Students will be asked 10 questions about whether different scenarios would be examples of fantasy or realism.
Closing
Students will spin the wheel and tell if the example is fantasy or realism.
