to read how to do so.Creating the Seating Chart
On the left side of the screen, you will see a panel that contains the furniture and student names that you can drag to the board. Once you have dragged an object from the left panel onto the board, you can edit the object, by moving, rotating, enlarging, or shrinking the objects. A wide range of furniture is available, including tables, chairs, a faucet, plants, etc. You can use these to make the seating chart an accurate representation of your classroom.Choose the right measurements
Do you have a large classroom? You may need lots of room on the classroom seating chart. Use the zoom button in the panel on the left side. You then set the standard size of the furniture and names that you drag from the panel to the interactive whiteboard. If you set the zoom closer to the “-” then the furniture you drag from the left will be smaller and you will have more space to create your classroom seating chart. You can always modify the size of the objects after you have dragged them to the board by enlarging or shrinking them.Assigning seats
Drag student names onto the classroom seating plan. The panel with student names has two extra buttons, a shuffle button, and a reset button. Use the shuffle button to shuffle the students between the seats. Use the reset button to remove all student names from the seating chart so you can restart.
Using the settings button of the tool (the gear button on the bottom left) you can select the option to have an infinite copy of the student names. If you turn this off, the student disappears from the panel as you assign them a seat, ensuring that you only assign a student one seat at a time.Saving and sharing classroom seating charts
If you want to save your classroom seating chart, simply save to your lessons. You can then open and reuse it again later. You may also choose to create a seating chart lesson that contains the seating charts of several different classes. If you want to share the seating chart with colleagues, save the lesson in your school folder or share the lesson link with your colleagues.Printing
Want to print your classroom seating chart? Click on the save icon in the toolbar at the bottom. The print page function is available there. This will only print the classroom seating chart.
