Gynzy Money Tools now support more global currencies

Our Money tools just got more inclusive. We’ve expanded currency support to help more classrooms connect math to real-world contexts. Whether you’re teaching students to recognize coins, make change, or compare values, you can now do it using even more local and international currencies.

What’s new?

You can now choose from 9 additional currencies:

  • Australian Dollar (AUD)

  • Swiss Franc (CHF)

  • Danish Krone (DKK)

  • Hungarian Forint (HUF)

  • Norwegian Krone (NOK)

  • Polish Zloty (PLN)

  • Romanian Leu (RON)

  • Swedish Krona (SEK)

  • Ukrainian Hryvnia (UAH)

Each new currency comes with local coins and bills, and you can toggle between horizontal or vertical orientation, choose specific denominations, and include coins, bills, or cents.

Why it matters

Adding these currencies means more classrooms can teach money skills in a context that feels familiar to their students. It also helps students explore how money works in different parts of the world—broadening their understanding of math and global awareness.

Two classroom use cases

Connect math to real life
Set the tool to your country’s currency and walk through real-world scenarios like grocery shopping or saving up for a goal. Students can practice adding, subtracting, and making change in a way that feels relevant and useful.

Compare international currencies
Use the tool to introduce students to how money looks and works in other countries. Combine this with geography or culture lessons to give students a global perspective.

Interactive whiteboard ready

Like all Gynzy tools, the Money tools are designed for active use on your interactive whiteboard. Drag coins, bills, and amounts as you teach. Let students take turns on the board to build amounts or solve problems—keeping them involved and engaged.

Ready to try the new currencies? Open the Money tools, go to Settings, and explore your new options.
