General

We often make comparisons in our written and verbal communications, sometimes without realizing it. Comparative and superlative adjectives help us make these comparisons and are an important part of communicating our thoughts and feelings. The distinction is made that comparatives allow us to compare two nouns, while superlative adjectives help us make broad statements on three or more nouns.

One exercise asks students to look at adjectives and come up with the comparative and superlative form of the word.
