In this lesson, students will learn about the types of goods and services they might encounter in their daily lives. They will learn to distinguish between them as well.

Students will be able to explain how people use money to buy goods and services.
Introduction
First, students will use their prior knowledge to discuss what they think goods and services are with prompts.
Instruction
Students will discuss vocabulary words like goods, services, jobs, buyers, and sellers. They will complete a few activities about these concepts: sorting goods and services into categories, telling what kinds of goods and services they would buy at each type of market or business, filling in sentences with words from a word bank. Students will also turn and talk to discuss what goods and services they can find in their communities.
