Celebrate Mother's Day with this collection of activities and projects. The lesson begins with a table of contents that links to different activities. Teachers can have students do the activities in any order they'd like!
First, there is a word search with various Mother's Day words. Then, students can play Hangman. They will also read some poems about Mother's Day, including a rhyming poem, haikus, and an acrostic. Students will then fill out a word web with words that describe their moms or what their moms like to do. They can also decorate a virtual Mother's Day card by dragging images and writing (or typing) a message. Last, students can create their own coupons to give to their moms. They can offer to do chores around the house and/or something nice for their moms.
