In the next couple of weeks we would like to introduce you to the Gynzy team. This week we introduce you to Lianne.

Meet Lianne: The girl that makes Gynzy work so smoothly

Hello there! My name is Lianne and I’m an Interaction Designer at Gynzy. “A what?” That is by far the most common reaction people have when I tell them what I do for a living. And I totally understand why. It’s not a job title you see or hear very often. My job is to make sure you don’t have to think. That one made you think, right? Let me explain. We say Gynzy is easy to use and that’s exactly what my job is about. Everyday, I try to make Gynzy more cohesive and user friendly, so that teaching with Gynzy stays intuitive and enjoyable. We believe in the statement; Happy teachers, Happy kids!

To do my job effectively, I work closely with teachers and a lot of different teams within Gynzy. For instance, I work with the School Support Team to gather all the teacher feedback we receive, in order to learn from teacher’s experiences. Together with the marketing team, I take a close look at what really needs to be added to or improved in Gynzy. The work we do together could result in new activities, the addition of a tool to the toolbar or an easier way to find what you’re looking for in our big pile of activities and lessons on the Gynzy website.

In my personal life I like to be creative as well. I love to cook, read, make my own things (DIY’s)  and I have recently taken on a new hobby called ‘searching for a new home’. Which at this point mostly consists of me perusing furniture online for my potential new place and researching interior design.

Do you have any feedback or improvements you would like to see within Gynzy? Share your ideas with me on the Gynzy feedback forum!
