Explanation of the tool

You can choose from two different ways to use this Ten Frame via 'Settings'.

1) Place value
2) Make 10
3) Free choice

By choosing the first option, the activity will ask students to move a certain amount of circles into the Ten Frame. For example "Move 6 circles into the frame." Students can drag one or five circles into the frame at a time. Press the 'Check' button to check the answer.

By choosing the second option, the activity will ask students how many more circles are needed to fill the frame. A certain amount of circles have been filled in already. Students can press the correct remaining amount at the bottom of the interactive whiteboard. Press the 'Check' button to check the answer.

By choosing the third option, you get an empty ten frame to use for your own assignments.
