HomeMeet the Gynzy Authors

Our Gynzy Authors are a team of educators from around the country who create the standards-aligned lessons in our Library. Our diverse group of Authors has different educational backgrounds and experiences which allow them to create lessons covering different subjects and grade levels while keeping students engaged. Note that while our Authors use their creativity to make each lesson unique, our lessons have a consistent structure to ensure students can build on prior knowledge, develop an understanding of new information, and be quizzed on the information they’ve learned. Kim Fowler

“I’m a former third-grade classroom teacher with a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. I’ve worked in several fields over the years but returned to my passion for teaching in 2018 when I started teaching online. I’ve branched out into Instructional Design and Writing because I really enjoy creating innovative and unique ways for students to learn! Parents have told me that my level of patience is extraordinary. I credit this to being the oldest of four children and having two, now grown, kids of my own!”

Haya Nseirat

“I’m a former English and Computer Science teacher to both middle and high school students. I have a Masters in Information Technology Management, and have a passion for helping students learn through innovative and modern techniques. I have created over 100 lessons for Gynzy and absolutely love utilizing their adjustable clock, spin the wheel, and hour glass tools! When I’m not creating lessons you can find me reading, hiking, baking, or hanging out with my family!”
